School partnership and workshop facilitation

My Approach

Powerful professional learning happens through authentic collaboration and inquiry.

Every partnership I take on is itself an inquiry — which is why I never run the same workshop twice. The work takes its shape from your context, co-constructed for your school rather than adapted from someone else's, and it starts from where you actually are.

My practice is grounded in the same constructivist principles I advocate for in classrooms: we learn best when we actively construct meaning, question our assumptions, and build on what we already know. Our work together is dialogic, inquiry-driven, and designed to build sustainable internal capacity rather than external dependency.

Whether you are navigating curriculum design, strengthening pedagogical practice, or developing school-wide approaches to learning, I am here to think alongside you — not to hand you someone else's programme.

Concept-Based Curriculum and Instruction for the Thinking Classroom

This is Dr Lynn Erickson and Dr Lois Lanning's signature workshop, which I am certified to deliver. It invites teachers into deep engagement with conceptual pedagogy — for educators ready to grapple with complex ideas and co-construct new understandings, rather than collect ready-made templates.

Workshop options
  • Exclusive facilitation for your department or whole staff
  • Open workshop hosting (where you provide facilities in exchange for complimentary staff places)

Professional Development & Training

I design and facilitate professional learning across the PYP, MYP and DP — from conceptual teaching and inquiry to interdisciplinary design and authentic assessment. With a background in English language and literature, I also work with schools on creative writing and critical literacy.

Curriculum Design and Review

I work alongside your team to develop new curriculum or refine what you already have, strengthening conceptual and interdisciplinary design and aligning assessment with your intentions for learning. The aim throughout is to leave your team more able to sustain and adapt the work themselves.

Accreditation, Evaluation and Inspection Support

Accreditation processes (IB, NEASC, Ofsted, ISI) can be opportunities for meaningful reflection and growth rather than mere compliance exercises. I can help you frame these experiences as genuine inquiry into your school's practices, supporting timeline development, documentation and staff learning in ways that strengthen rather than overwhelm your community.

Ready to start a conversation?

Every partnership begins the same way, whatever its eventual size: a conversation about where your school is and what you are hoping to move. You do not need to know the shape of the whole thing in advance — only the question you would like to work on. We can find the right first step together.
